Vehicle & Traffic Matters

The Town Prosecutor reviews all tickets and may make plea bargain offers to each defendant after a Court date has been assigned. After you submit your ticket to the Court and receive a Court date, you may then receive a letter from the Town Prosecutor with a possible resolution to your violation. You may either accept the offer, ask for an in-person appearance, or ask for a trial. YOU MUST RETURN THE PROPOSED OFFER ON OR BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED APPEARANCE DATE. If you have hired an attorney, and your attorney has submitted a notice of appearance and waiver to the Court, the offer will be submitted directly to your attorney.
