Lake Ida Park

Welcome to Lake Ida Park! This beautiful park in Rock Hill surrounds a tranquil 12-acre lake and features ample parking and walking trails. Nature abounds in the area: look for fish in the lake, birds in the forest, and much more Catskills wildlife throughout the property. Formerly home to Camp Jened, the Town of Thompson purchased the property in 2017. The Town recently completed restrooms, added an EV charging station and a playground and pavilion are being planned for the future. A paved walking path allows ADA accessibility to explore the park or push your stroller.
