Save time by registering for 2026 YMCA Summer Camp online at MyRec! YMCA Camp is for Thomspon kids ages 5-14 and is held weekdays from June 29th to August 14th at East Mongaup River Park.

You can fully register your child for camp and pay immediately or put a deposit down to secure your spot. New! 10 spots for non-Thompson residents are open now. After that, we’ll open up the waitlist for non-residents.

If you prefer to pay in person, you can do so at the following in-person signups at the Town Hall.

Sunday, March 15th 9 am – 3 pm

Monday, March 23rd 5-8 pm

Monday, April 13th 5-8 pm

Saturday, April 18th 9 am – 3 pm

For in-person registration, do the following:

  1. Sign up and register for YMCA camp at MyRec
  2. Print out and bring this registration form with you
  3. Bring a deposit of $100 or pay in full

To register, sign up for a MyRec account if you have not yet done so. Fill out the required information and then provide proof of residency (if paying resident rate). Proof of residency items include current utility or sanitation bill, tax bill, mortgage statement, printed rent receipt, report card, or letter from school. Payment may be cash, check, or credit card. There is a 3% credit card fee. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Thompson.

In order to attend camp, you must bring a copy of your child’s immunization records. Early Drop Off is available at 7:30 am for an additional $130 per child payable to the YMCA directly.

Registration is limited to the first 225 children – first come, first serve! There is a waitlist for those who reside outside of Thompson beyond the 10 reserved spots. Email [email protected] to get on the waitlist.
