EV drivers can now plug in at several convenient Town of Thompson locations, including Town Hall and two local parks.
The Town offers ChargePoint Level 2 EV charging stations at:

3 dual charging stations
East Mongaup River Park
2 dual charging stations
Lake Ida Park
1 dual charging station
Level 2 chargers are ideal when you’re parked for a little while: whether you’re visiting Town Hall, taking a walk, enjoying the trails, or spending time at the park. Charging speed varies by vehicle, but Level 2 chargers are commonly used at public locations and can provide a useful charge while you go about your day.
The cost is 25 cents per kilowatt-hour, with payment available by Apple Pay or credit card. Drivers may also be able to use the ChargePoint app to help find stations, start a charge, and manage payment.
