Thursday Night Lights means special ski\, snowtube\, and snowboard discounts just for Town residents at Holiday Mountain every Thursday from 3-8pm this winter (see rates below):\n*$19 each – lift tickets\, ski rentals\, snowtubing\,\n*$25 each – snowboard rentals\n*$30 each – group ski lessons\nThis year\, kids within Monticello Central School District who are 18 and under can ski\, snowboard\, and snowtube for free simply by filling out a form and joining the free Thompson Youth Program. The form is at: www.townofthompson.com/youthprogram.\nSnowtube sessions require reservations for 4-5:30 or 5:30-7 session and must be 42 inches tall. No outside food\, drink\, or personal belongings in cafeteria. *If warm temperatures or severe weather is expected\, always call Holiday Mountain to ensure they are open at 845-796-3161.

Please note that Shred Day is for individuals only\, not commercial businesses – and you must be a Town of Thompson resident. \nHow: Bring up to 2 legal size boxes full of documents to be shredded. Please respect the 2-box limit per individual as it will be strictly enforced. \nWhy: Properly shredding documents is essential in protecting personal  information. Unfortunately\, identity thieves may sift through trash or recycling bins seeking out documents that have not been shredded. According to the latest U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) report\, there were 24\,248 cases of identity theft in New York State in 2018 – and that number is on the rise. New York State ranks #13 in states with the most incidents of identity theft. \n*The Town typically holds two shred days each year\, in the fall and spring.
