DESCRIPTION:The Town of Thompson Youth Program will be travelling to the Bronx Zoo on July 13th\, 2024 by bus and all Town of Thompson youth are invited to join us. The cost is $10 per person (plus a small $2.45 EventBrite fee for a total of $12.45) and all participants must be residents of the Town. Your group must be accompanied by an adult chaperone\, who must also purchase a ticket. One adult per child max\, and up to 3 kids per adult max. Adults must accompany a Town of Thompson youth. \nYou can securely purchase a ticket via EventBrite right here\, which reserves your spot for the trip! \nThe bus will leave promptly at 8AM from Thompson Town Hall and return at approximately 6PM on the same day – July 13th. \nPlease sign up for our newsletter here – or email Jamie at the town at jferriero@townofthompson.com to get notified of future youth programs and events.

DESCRIPTION:It’s back! Free Zumba for Town of Thompson Residents kicks off on Thursday\, May 2nd. Instructor Jamie Vandervoort will lead FREE classes at East Mongaup River Park in the upper pavilion every Tuesday and Thursday May 2nd through September\, 5:30-6:30pm. \nZumba is all about having fun while you dance your way to better fitness. Don’t forget to bring water to stay hydrated in the heat! DESCRIPTION:The Town of Thompson is excited to announce Tennis for Beginners\, a series of FREE weekly summer lessons for youth and adults who reside in Thompson. Lessons will be held at the new Monticello High School tennis courts! This program is in partnership with U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) Eastern and lessons are run by Coach Tutu Gupta\, who has decades of experience coaching tennis. Equipment and instruction are provided! \nLessons will be held on Wednesdays from July 17th through August 14th for youth from 5:30-6:30 pm and for adults from 6:30-7:30 pm. There will be a special kickoff event featuring an initial lesson on Wednesday\, July 17th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Don’t miss this event! \nInterested in Tennis for Beginners?
