On Tuesday\, April 30th\, from 3:00 – 6:30 pm\, you can come into the Town Hall 4052 Route 42 in Monticello\, to register your child/ren for summer camp. \nABOUT SUMMER CAMP: The Town of Thompson YMCA Summer Camp runs daily from 8:30 am until 5 pm\, July 1st through August 16th. Camp is open to children ages 5-14 (must have turned 5 by December 1st\, 2023). Note: No camp on July 4th\, 2024. \nFill out and print the 2024 Form for YMCA Summer Camp in Thompson and bring it with you along with the following items:  \nTo register\, bring a copy of your child’s current immunization records and proof of Thompson residency. Proof of residency items include current utility or sanitation bill\, tax bill\, mortgage statement\, printed rent receipt\, report card\, or letter from school. Registration must be paid in full. The cost is $350 per child. Early Drop Off is available at 7:30 am for an additional $130 per child so your total due on registration day would be $480. \nRegistration is limited to the first 225 children – first come\, first serve! \n*If you plan to use a credit card to pay\, there is a 2.65% processing fee. \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Shred Day takes place in the parking lot of the Town of Thompson Town Hall (near Home Depot). Shred Day is free for Town of Thompson individuals. There is a limit for each person or business of 2 large (legal size) boxes. These boxes should contain documents that you would like destroyed through a secure shredding process. The Town asks that you please respect the 2-box limit. Without shredding and carefully disposing of documents\, identity thieves may target you. They often sift through trash or recycling bins seeking out documents that have not been shredded.

The first 50 adults to RSVP to the Town Parks & Recreation Department prior to January 20th will ski\, snowboard\, or snowtube for free on Community Night. You will receive one free rental and one free lift ticket. Don’t wait – space fills fast. Simply email Jamie Ferriero at jferriero@townofthompson.com or call 845-796-3161 to reserve your spot. \nIf the first 50 spots are filled…no worries\, you can still come out and join us! Enjoy special ski\, snowtube\, and snowboard discounts just for Town residents at Holiday Mountain every Thursday from 3-8pm this winter (see rates below): \n*$19 each – lift tickets\, ski rentals\, snowtubing\,\n*$25 each – snowboard rentals\n*$30 each – group ski lessons \nThis year\, kids within Monticello Central School District who are 18 and under can ski\, snowboard\, and snowtube for free simply by filling out a form and joining the free Thompson Youth Program. The form is at: www.townofthompson.com/youthprogram.\nSnowtube sessions require reservations for 4-5:30 or 5:30-7 session and must be 42 inches tall. No outside food\, drink\, or personal belongings in cafeteria. During weather events\, ensure that Holiday Mountain is open by calling to confirm at 845-796-3161.
